Built in 1925, the 175-guestroom hotel is a historical landmark of stunning French Colonialist design. The Hotel Majestic is seven kilometers from the Ho Chi Minh City Airport. Rooms and River Views are great

Fabulous 'Old World Hotel', a nice change from the usual modern 4 star of Saigon. Lobby, Restaurants and roof top bar are all great spaces. Rooms spacious, clean, authentically decorated and quiet. Staff very friendly. Will definitely return.

• Travel Tip: Head to Chill at AB Tower - Awesome views and best steak I have eaten in some time!

walking distance to almost anywhere

we appreciate the free upgrade but there is no view from the room although we request to face the saigon river. Guess the communication broke down. the exchange rate at the hotel was suprisingly more competitive than the the money exchenge shop.the taxi is abundance but again due to klanguage it can be costly as some driver pretend not to understand you and take the long route although is meter charged.near shops and eateries and the saigon river...

Good location, next to river and very central. Nicely renovated in old style with spacious rooms. Breakfast outside on roof top is very unique.

i have stayed here recently and was then not impressed with the surly check in and check out staff at reception, but this time they were much more friendly and more efficient. room was again nice and spacious although i preferred the room in the original wing, which had more character. wifi signal in room remains weak, as was the case during my previous visit. breakfast on roof top on 5th floor was again very pleasant. nice spread and good views over river and traffic below. good value for money. not a 5 star super deluxe hotel, but surely a very good choice at a reasonable rate.
